THREE SONGS YOU NEED TO HEAR

It’s time to acknowledge the amazing songs this music legend (yes, I said it!) did create; Here are three songs you might not have heard before:

1 I DON’T CARE ANYMORE

‘I don’t care anymore’ is the lead single from the solo album ‘Hello, I must be going!’,  released in 1983. The song starts with powerful drums and simplistic keyboard chords. Phil sings with an angry voice that he’s over his failed marriage. Every now and then haunting guitar sounds pierce through. Collins used the gated reverb recording tracks to create more ‘punchy’ drum sounds. R&B singer Kelis and producer Pharrell Williams (the Neptunes) re-recorded this song for the ‘Urban Renewal’ album in 2001. This album was a tribute to the music of Phil Collins and is an example of how contemporary artists still get influenced by his work.
